Hello everyone i'm a newbie here, and very new to Internet Marketing, this is my first thread here though i signed up to this brilliant forum a couple days ago.

I am 20 and work as a pizza delivery driver at night, i also play guitar in a band that i am very serious about (MySpace.com - Hyrule Mafia - Sydney, AU - Alternative / Rock / Other - www.myspace.com/hyrulemafia) and i think has the potential to go somewhere, i really believe in the music we write, and so does my fellow band members. Other than that i must say i have way to much time on my hands, and would really like to be doing something more with it, something that will earn some money too, because pizza deliveries only pays alright, and i am just scraping by at the moment.

Iv'e been reading up alot within the past week about this industry, mainly on this forum, and watched some of norbs youtube videos which really inspired me. I'm starting to get my head around how it all works and what to do when first starting off in this industry to start promoting products, and i must say the products on here look really awesome and genuine and would love to sell something that looks this good.

Just wondering if anyone had any tips or steps just to help me get going, what are the very first things i should consider, as i am brand spankin new, keen as anything and all i've really done is read up about it?

I've only been here about a month or so myself. I can only tell you it's perhaps the absolute coolest attitude of absolutely ANY forum I've ever been on. It's a great place and your encouraged to be yourself (with a little grace).

You mentioned that you love your music... if you haven.t yet, go to the top header and click on the "radio" icon... That's all Norb... This guy is amazing... I think he must have have 11 arms cuz he can the master of multitasking and is just a great, down to earch guy... AND he does some serious shyt man (that odd arm... would be to wipe his ass cause I'm sure he doesn't have time to do regular maintenance kinda stuff ! ) ...

Anyhow the best thing here for me was to read, read, read. There is a lot of good stuff... lost of good info on the affiliate page too. I had a bit of a handle on some of this stuff but these guys (and girls) got it goin' on, my brother.

Participate where you can add insight, don't say stupid shit and you'll be fine. You have found a honey-hole of positive attitudes here. Cherish and protect it!...

Help to raise the bar and you will become well respected.

If you haven't already downloaded the bum marketing method by Lemonarian, then you would be advised to start there.

The reason is that it is using free methods to promote affiliate products and only costs time (plus webhosting/domain name registration costs). Naturally, you don't need to do everything at once, but by following the outline you will find your own preferred method (and if tracking things you should also find a way that works for you as well).
