Solid list Norb, but I found myself in disagreement with two points you made. Of course, you built this list via your own experiences and predictions, but it doesn't mean it is right. I have experienced my own, and that doesn't mean I'm right.

Willy, I believe Norb was trying to convey the fact that blogging takes a while to monetize. While your intentions could be focused else where, you'll more than likely reach success faster doing something else. Basically blogging takes a lot out of your day, having to research everything you write about is time consuming. If you don't put out, nor will your reader base. Just because blogging makes a select few thousands a month, doesn't really mean it can work for you. The deciding factor is the amount of time you are willing to put into it. You can make money out of any niche you choose to write about, but you could have doubled and tripled that income focusing else where. Does that make sense?
Blogging is a way to develop a brand and 25% of people that own a blog -- understand this. The other 75% are trying to make it big like other "famous" bloggers'. Those that want to make it big, will fail hardcore. You need to have that passion to continue. Because when the thought of, "is this really worth my time" pops into your head, you need passion to say, "hell yes".
Willy, growing your blog, is growing your brand - do so. But focus on making cash out side of blogging.
I have four blogs myself, all of which have a few thousand visits a day. I pick a day out of the week and write one article a day per website. Having them all schedule, 1 article for 7 days. This leaves the rest of the week to do some damage.
P.S: Stop looking at your damn earnings and start hustling. If you know what works, lose your stupid password to all your revenue networks (if your doing bum marketing). Stop worrying about how much you make a day, who cares, start hustling. When you are making those xx,xxx checks a month, start looking for other avenues of passive income.
People have this disease in their mind that they need to seek different avenues while they make a shitty income. Do what works, hit that shit. DON'T STOP. DON'T LOOK BACK. HUSTLE. After you hustle, start looking else where. You got one shot and one opportunity. Hustle.
Edit* I would rep you Norb, but I can't. Thank you for taking the time to post this.
